“Just add more panels.”

Ah yes. The famous Nigerian engineering method: if one is good, twenty must be better.

But solar systems don't work by vibes and enthusiasm.

The number of panels you need depends on things like:

  • How much electricity your appliances consume
  • Your battery capacity
  • Your inverter size
  • The wattage of the panels
  • How long you use your appliances
  • How much sunshine is actually available

For example, buying plenty of panels without considering your battery and inverter is like buying ten bags of rice when you only have one pot. Congratulations, your resources are present, but coordination has left the group chat.

The right solar system is properly calculated, not randomly assembled because your neighbour has six panels.

Don't count panels. Calculate your energy needs.
